| Email address books
Outlook Express uses Windows Address Book and I am not about to suggest that you replace it with anything else, if you continue to use Outlook Express. However, if you move to a better email client, you will have to export your address book to that client. That client may well do the job for you when it is being installed.
Outlook is supplied as part of Microsoft Office and is intended to be used with that suite. It has support for both Contacts and Personal Address Book. Using Contacts is the preferred way to go. If you already have a Personal Address Book it can be migrated to Contacts.
Eudora uses its own address book. There is an excellent online tutorial about its use. You'll find it at: http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/tutorials/win_addressbook.html
If you need to use Eudora address book data in an external program that doesn't connect with it automatically, you can use Windows Address Book to import the data and then link Windows Address Book to your external program as a data source, or export the data from Windows Address Book in a format usable by your program.. Consult your program's manual or online help for further information.
