Print centrally on the page

Position your worksheet front and centre on the printed page. To have Excel print your spreadsheet in the centre of the page, select Page Setup from the File menu. Click the Margins tab and check the boxes labeled "Horizontally" and "Vertically," which are located under the "Center on Page" heading. Click OK to save the settings and print your spreadsheet with a centred look.

In StarOffice and OpenOffice.org Calc, select Format/Page. There you can set where a table is printed - vertically and horizontally - and alter margins. It is Format/Page which is the equivalent of Page Setup in Excel. For further control over the printout, go to Printer Settings, Properties and click on the Centered box, if there is one for your specific printer.

NewDeal Office Calc resembles Excel in that you select Page Setup from the File menu. However, you then choose "Center Horizontally" and "Center Vertically" in the dialog box which opens. Note that you can also force the printout to fit the on one page by selecting the appropriate option.
