Urgent email

When you need to make an important e-mail message stand out in the recipient's inbox, you can set a message's priority in Outlook Express. Write your new message as you normally would and then click the arrow at the right side of the Priority button in the Outlook Express toolbar. Select High Priority (or Normal Priority or Low Priority) from the pop-up list, and click Send.

In Eudora you have five levels of Priority to choose from and they are set in exactly the same manner as described above. Normal Priority is set by default.

Assigning Priority is most useful when sending an email to a business person who may receive hundreds of emails per day. But don't abuse it. If every message he/she receives from you is marked high priority, you'll be classified as the "boy who cried wolf" and ignored just when your message is important.
